DescriptionNavy blue, single breasted, long-sleeved overcoat with navy interior lining. Two breast pockets and two hip pockets as well as one on the inside proper right. Two holes on a strip of fabric for attaching badge over the proper left breast pocket. Shield-shaped patches on each shoulder with gold stitching. Fourteen gold-plated buttons are on the coat. A thick yellow band of trim around the cuffs of the sleeves. Patch with a gold star is on the proper left sleeve above the band.Dimensions2 x 28.5 x 33 in. (5.1 x 72.4 x 83.8 cm)

Fourteen gold-plated buttons depict the City of Pittsburgh's Coat of Arms in the center surrounded by the words "PITTSBURGH / PUBLIC SAFETY".
