under first, white rectangular label with blue stamp "INT. LADIES GARMENT / WORKERS UNION / [in middle] UNION MADE / ILGWU / AFL CIO", in center is a seal featuring image of needle and thread.

Historical NotesA "house" dress worn by donor Nancy Page's mother, Nancy Barr Johnson, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Nancy Barr Johnson was born in 1899 in Esplen, Pennsylvania. Around the age of 10, she moved to Greensburg, where she remained for the rest of her life as a wife, mother of one daughter, and a homemaker. Johnson died in 1991 and is buried in Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg.
