DescriptionTwo colorless glass bottles with ounce measurement markings (half an ounce to four ounces) on one of the flat sides. The bottles are oval shaped with a tapered-in spout with a brim around the edge. The ounce markings are made with horizontal lines of alternating lengths of 0.5-inch and 0.75-inch. There is a vertical line extending from the base to the mouth of the bottle which passes through the horizontal lines. A seam from the mold runs on the curved sides to the left and right of the measurement markings. The base is raised in the middle.Dimensions5.5 x 2 x 1.5 in. (14 x 5.1 x 3.8 cm)Inscriptions(a-b)

Historical NotesPart of a collection related to Klavon's, which document that Klavon's was originally a pharmacy and an ice cream shop. Klavon's Pharmacy opened at 28th and Liberty in 1920. It operated at that location as both a pharmacy and soda/ice cream shop until 1979 when founder James Klavon passed away. For 20 years the building was boarded up until Ray Klavon, grandson of the founder, re-opened the store in 1999 as Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor. In 2013 the family sold the building to a new owner who opened another ice cream shop under the same name.
