MarksOn the reverse side, there is blue-lined paper inserted into the back of the pin. Printed on this is a maker's mark that reads "J. H . Shaw Co. / Badges, Buttons / and Portraits. / 1324 Arch St., / Phila.". Beneath this is a union label consisting of an oval shape, a smaller circle in the middle flanked by two rectangles. At the top of the oval shape reads: "ALLIED PRINTING". The left rectangle in the center reads: "TRADES", the center circle reads: "UNION / LABEL" and the right rectangle reads: "COUNCIL". At the bottom of the oval shape reads: "ROCHESTER".
