Sheets of plastic were run over the molds, then cut, sealed, and filled with chocolate from the bottom of the plastic mold.Label TextChocolate and Christmas have a long history. The giving of coins by St. Nicholas to children may have inspired the making of chocolate coins. Many candy companies now produce special holiday treats in this shape.
