BiographyAllan Pinsker (1919-2013) was born in Uniontown, Pa., and moved to Pittsburgh in 1935. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and took a job as a sheet metalworker for Dravo after his return. He was also a noted local actor. He started his theatre career building sets at the Y Playhouse. He later became a stage manager and then an actor at both the Y Playhouse and the Pittsburgh Playhouse, among other local theatres, as well as film and television productions. He acted into his late 80s.
