Historical NotesSystem Calculator handmade and used for calculating purposes for power generators at Duquesne Light. Invented by donor Lois J. Lyman's father-in-law, Walter J. Lyman, who was the Vice President of Duquesne Light from early 1950s until 1966. Lyman was a graduate of Carnegie Technical Institute in 1924.
