InscriptionsFRONT: top center is a dial with numbers 2-7 along edge and at top an arrow pointing toward "2" broken with "COLDER"; encircling the dial is a metal cartouche with "ON" at 6:00 and "OFF" at 8:00 along inner edge; Top of cartouche has a "W" with bar in a circle and bottom has "Westinghouse";

BACK: top section is open with exposed wires; closed metal lower section with "MODEL...130 / STYLE. 655273 / SERIAL... / 51" in black letters on top center. I
Historical NotesDonated to the George Westinghouse Museum by Mr. and Mrs. John M. Eberhart. Transferred to the Heinz History Center in 2007 when the museum closed. This refrigerator was purchased in 1930, the very first year that Westinghouse manufactured refrigerators. Westinghouse only manufactured this wide, double-door refrigerator in the years 1930 and 1931. They changed the design to a single-door refrigerator starting in 1932."
