Women's History

These collections document the experiences of women from the region including their work, family life, political and social activism, civic involvement, leisure and sports activities, and their artistic creations. In 2020, as the nation commemorates the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the vote, these collections provide insight into the challenges faced and contributions made by women from Western Pa.
